Meet Michail Kazakos, a seminarian Theology student at Hellenic College!

After many years and thoughtful discussions, my spiritual father gave me his blessings to take action towards the calling of priesthood. I chose to attend HCHC for many reasons. First, I was attracted by the history of this college and its success in educating priests, bishops, and theologians from all over the world.

Secondly, I was born and raised in Greece, so I feel honored to be attending Hellenic College Holy Cross because it is the only Greek Orthodox college in the U.S. My experience so far has been one of the best. When I first arrived at the school I was very nervous. However, this only lasted a couple of days because all the members, faculty, staff, and students were so welcoming!

Lastly, the nature and location of the school makes it extremely unique and peaceful, perfect for my growing family. I really love the chapel purposely placed in the middle of the campus. The most unique and beautiful part is that the day starts and ends with prayer, keeping Christ as the center of our community lives. While my daughter enjoys the community of children and playground set just outside our home. We are blessed to have become a part of something so beautiful.

Thank you to all who support seminarians like Michail as they answer their call to serve Christ and His holy Church!
